Before we make the required list of top schools, we actually need to define what makes a Top Gunsmithing School. What is it that we are looking for? So here are a number of the criteria GSHQ considered whilst putting together the list of the Top Gunsmithing Schools in the USA:
- Reputation amongst gunsmiths and other employers
- Reputation amongst other gunsmithing schools
- Reputation and feedback from past students
- Quality of curriculum
- Amount of hands-on time
- Quality of teaching staff
- Quality of facilities
- Providing value for money
